What is 9H Tempered Glass?

Tempered glass 9H refers to tempered glass with a surface Mohs hardness level (hardness comparison level of different materials) of 9 or above. This high-hardness tempered glass is made by a special process. During the manufacturing process, the glass needs to be heated at high temperature and then strongly cooled to make the glass surface reach high hardness to enhance its impact resistance and wear resistance.

Tempered glass 9H has strong resistance to falling, scratching, pressure and impact, and is a very high-quality glass. In practical applications, tempered glass 9H is widely used in high-end mobile phone screens, electronic products, car windows, building curtain walls, etc. In addition, tempered glass 9H also has the characteristics of high temperature resistance and natural light radiation resistance, which can not only protect objects but also enhance the beauty of objects.

How to be Resilient?

In the production of tempered glass, we have developed and added the arrangement of smart molecules, which is a low-density but highly protective material. It can further enhance the toughness of our tempered glass and provide greater protection for the mobile phone case.

How is it made?

1. Research, develop and create new smart molecular raw materials.

2. After the glass is made through a process that reaches temperatures of up to 680°C, smart molecules are added to make it fuse together.

3. After cutting, an electroplating process is used to make it stronger and brighter.

4. Incorporating nano-ions, the active and effective antibacterial rate can reach 99.99%.

Why do we want to create
smart molecules?

The smart molecular material we developed can provide
ultimate protection for mobile phones and small devices.
It is integrated into 9H tempered glass to enhance its drop
resistance and defense, while also protecting your device
well.

High-level reliability testability

Wear test

Test whether the coating will wear or fall off due to friction with other materials.

Chemical resistance test

Test the durability of coating degradation caused by contact with some common solvents (75% alcohol, detergent, FORMULA409 detergent, water) in daily life.

Scratch test

Test whether the surface can resist being scratched by hard objects.

Rollover test

Ensure the durability of the film when the phone is placed in a bag, purse or pocket during a bumpy journey.

Thermal shock test

Ensure that the tempered glass fits the phone case well without obvious warping, bubbles, or appearance deformation under rapid temperature changes from -20°C to 60°C.

Small ball impact test

Test to ensure your equipment is resistant to everyday bumps and tumbles.

Corner strength test

The corners of tempered glass are very fragile. Increasing the corner strength can reduce the chance of edge peeling and cracking. Strictly test the corner strength to ensure product quality and durability.

Drop test

Test the durability and protection of the product by dropping the device face down from a height of 0.8 meters onto a soft concrete surface. And drop it from a height of 0.6 meters onto a rough concrete surface to ensure the product's protection of the device and its durability in most accidental falls (note: the test success rate is not 100%).
